NewsDo you know what you put on your skin? Here's what to avoid!

Are you sure you know the products you choose for your body every day?

We often let ourselves be attracted by packaging, at other times by colors and perfumes, or we let word of mouth dictate our choices, but when it comes to shopping for your skin it is good not to trust too much the advice of others, for the simple fact that each of us has their own specific needs!

The Dermorevita line is formulated with natural ingredients and they are all certified organic products.

In this article, however, we do not want to tell you about the ingredients we use, but about those that we avoid without any hesitation!

There are chemicals present in some cosmetics that can cause damage to the skin or even the environment, so it is essential to know how to recognize them and buy green alternatives!

For example: have you ever heard of "Butylphenyl Methylpropional", also called "Lilial"?

This substance has a synthetic origin and is usually used as a fragrance in various cosmetic formulations, such as perfumes, soaps, shampoos or detergents.

Its use is often associated with allergies and contact dermatitis, but there are also studies that demonstrate the endocrine disrupting capacity of Butylphenyl Methylpropional, i.e. its ability to mimic the behavior of certain hormones by generating a response in the human body at the wrong time or excessively, or by interfering with the body's metabolic processes.

Another enemy of the skin and the body is the "Zinc Pyrithione".

It is an active ingredient present in some anti-dandruff shampoos, as well as in other beauty products, especially for hair. It has however proved to be an endocrine substance and has been accused of interfering with fertility and is potentially irritating to the skin. However, the EU has now decided to ban its use in cosmetics starting from 1 March 2022.

If from now on you find yourself buying a new shampoo, pay attention to the INCI, where it is written with the words Zinc Pyrithione. If it appears among the ingredients of the product you are looking at, we advise you to leave it on the shelf!

In short, all this to tell you that in NONE of our products you will NEVER find these substances because our way of working reflects a philosophy that cares about the elements that nature makes available to us, that we select for you with great care and attention.
